Our Outreach Services
The CSHF (Center for Safeguarding and Human Formation) spreads awareness on safeguarding of minors and vulnerable adults. It also engages in training of Religious and Laity on various topics in Human Formation .
2025
A 10 day program on Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults was conducted for 11 theology students of the Karnataka Jesuit Province from 20-31 January 2025
The South Zone of the Jesuit Conference of South Asia (JCSA) organized a training programme for Jesuits and lay collaborators on Saturday, 22 March 2025 at Prerana, Bengaluru
The Goa province of the Society of Jesus organized a training program on Safeguarding on 22 April at Belgavi, Karnataka
The Goa province of the Society of Jesus organized a training program on Safeguarding on 24 April at Pedro Raia Institute, Goa.
A one day workshop for the Piarist Fathers on Safeguarding was conducted at the Camillian Pastoral and Health Center, Bengaluru on 2 May 2025
The 2024-25 Batch of students of the CSHF-SIHCWSD course concluded their Diploma Course with the onsite component at Vinayalaya Retreat House, Mumbai, from 5-9 May. All the best to them.
A seminar on Safeguarding was conducted for the formators of the Society of the Missionaries of St Francis Xavier (SFX) at Pilar Pilgrim Center, Pilar, Goa on 26 & 27 May 2025
A session on "Precautions to be taken with regard to children during parish and school ministries, family visits etc" safeguarding took place for the theology students of the Papal Seminary, Pune on Saturday, 7 June 2025
A 5 day workshop on ACT & DBT was conducted for the students of Roshni Niliya College of Social work at Pune from 2-6 January 2024
A training for the AICUF facilitators was conducted at XIM Bhubaneshwar from 3-4 February 2024
A Forgiveness Retreat was conducted by the director for 8 participants from 6-14 April at the CSHF, Pune
The Director of CSHF was a delegate of JCSA at the global conference on Education held at Jogjakarta, Indonesia, June 24-28, 2024
A 5 day workshop on Aging gracefully was conducted at the CSHF for Bethany sisters from 17-23 January 2024
A training on Safeguarding was conducted for the Archdiocese of Delhi on 24 January 2024
A training on The redressal Mechanism was conducted at the CSHF for the Jesuit Province Protection Officers between 26-28 January 2024
Between 6-8, 2024 February seminars on Safeguarding were conducted at 4 places in Goa

The Director of CSHF attended a meeting at the Jesuit Curia on the "Promotion of a Consistent Culture of Protection" of minors. It was attended by the delegates from the different assistances.
