VISION STATEMENT
The promotion of a consistent culture of care and protection of minors and vulnerable adults, and the dissemination of knowledge and skills on safeguarding in India, thus serving as a visible sign of the Indian Church's commitment to a just and safer Church and world.
The Center for Safeguarding is located on the premises of De Nobili College, Pune. It is part of the Global Safeguarding Alliance, which is presently a collective of 8 universities around the world, who are involved in safeguarding work.

MISSION STATEMENT

To introduce awareness and prevention as the first line of offense in the safeguarding of minors and vulnerable adults

To educate stakeholders on the sociological, psychological, moral, and legal aspects of abuse of children and vulnerable adults

To work on issues regarding the safeguarding of minors and vulnerable adults through workshops, seminars, talks, and certified courses

To prepare modules for training, and conducting research on safeguarding

To collaborate with various groups interested in issues of safeguarding
-
To serve as a referral, renewal, and resource center
